Mehdi Anvarian
Mehdi founded 2M Creative in July 2003. His pioneering vision has always been to deliver the same quality of work as the big agencies, at a manageable rate for startups, by keeping the overhead low.
Prior to 2M Creative, Mehdi was a Design Director at 1185 Design, a leading print and multimedia design firm in Palo Alto. Mehdi headed design teams in providing creative solutions for some of the major companies in Silicon Valley. Prior to 1185 Design, Mehdi was a senior designer at E.J. Sarraille Design an award winning design and advertising agency based in Palo Alto.
Mehdi holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and studied Calligraphy and Black and White Photography in private settings with established artists. He continues to explore photography with the use of his vintage camera collection.

Overview
For more than 60 years, Central Concrete has built genuine relationships and provided valuable solutions to Bay Area Contractors. Over the past few years, that customer base has expanded, as owners, architects and structural engineers recognized the significant impact Central Concrete's "green" low CO2 concrete mixes would have on realizing their goals – superior, LEED-certified, sustainable buildings.
Problem
How do you reach three new and very different audiences, and at the same time maintain existing, well respected relationships, all while strengthening the parent brand?

Solution
To serve these multiple audiences, 2M Creative responded to the owner's and architects desire to view multiple projects, complete with stunning photography and valuable project highlights. At the same time, the site offered structural engineers valuable technical resources to assist them in their research. The new site is also designed with key information handy on every page for quick access on the job site. Most importantly, the site offers a distinct visual and message identity that sets it apart from its competitors and expresses Central’s core values.
Conclusion
As the website progressed it became clear that the logo needed to be refreshed along with stationery and marketing collateral. The results were deemed so successful that Central’s parent company, U.S. Concrete, engaged 2M Creative to provide brand identity solutions for eleven of its business units.
It was a very exciting project and we are honored that they have chosen us as their long-term creative partner.
